Meet the Doctors

Dr. William R. Parks

Dr. Parks earned a Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia, where he was inducted into both Sigma Zeta and Omicron Kappa Upsilon science honor societies. He completed a two-year orthodontic residency at Boston University, where he earned a Master of Science in Dentistry.

After two years of practicing orthodontics in the military, Dr. Parks opened his private practice on the Peninsula. Dr. Parks is a Board Certified Orthodontist and is also a distinguished member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the American College of Dentists. Locally, he is a fellow of the Virginia Dental Association and a past president of both the Peninsula Dental Society and the Tidewater Orthodontic Society.

Outside his professional life, Dr. Parks is a member of the Warwick Rotary and the Virginia War Museum, where he is a past president. He is also a member of the development committee at the Mariner’s Museum. Dr. Parks is a past chairman of the board at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School as well as a past member of the board at Hampton Roads Academy.

Dr. Parks enjoys golf, fishing, vintage cars, walking his golden retriever, Dandy, and entertaining his grandchildren.


Dr. Meredith Parks

Dr. Meredith Parks joined the practice in June 2006. She is a 1994 honors graduate of Hampton Roads Academy and a 1998 honors graduate of Wake Forest University. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Medical College of Virginia, and completed a three year residency in Orthodontics at West Virginia University, where she earned a Master of Science in Dentistry.

Dr. Meredith Parks is a member of the Virginia Dental Association, the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. Locally, she is member of the Peninsula Dental Society and the Tidewater Orthodontic Society.

Outside of the office, Dr. Parks enjoys boating, reading, snow skiing, and traveling with her family.
