Matthew Burris is a Mechanical Engineer in the Tidewater area. He holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a certified Professional Engineer. It is a career he is committed to, and plans on continuing mastering his skills and knowledge in the field for years to come.
In addition to his career, Matt is passionate about his family. His father has been a major influence in his life, teaching him to always work hard, and to hold your family tight. These lessons have stuck with Matt, as he strives to excel in his profession, and to be the best husband and father he can be.
Matt has lived with some type of orthodontic treatment since he was 16 years old, and has was unhappy with his significant underbite which affected his facial profile. “Your self esteem affects every decision you make in your life. For me having straight and healthy teeth has positively affected both my mental and physical well-being.”
Although his treatment was lengthy, he was thankful that Parks Orthodontics was patient and made things easy for him and his busy schedule. “The staff kept me very well informed of the treatment plan, my progress and what I could expect in the future.”
Now that he is finally completed treatment, he feels like a weight has been lifted off his shoulders. Last month, Matthew Burris had family portraits taken with his wife and son, and it was the first time he took a picture with an open smile in many years. Simply put, “It felt great!”
